Has anyone any idea what non conformist churches were near Townley Street in the St. Andrews district of Burnley in 1879. I am looking for the baptism of Susy Duerden. She was buried at Haggate, so I am presuming that the family were always non conformist.

Hi Gill,
if you go to http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/education/ ... /green.asp
go to B, tab down to Burnley, you will find a list of them which you can access at Preston Records Office and probably Burnley Library, if you are local.
