Hi, Jehovah Jireh. Please can someone tell what it is and what it was. I remember being told that Arthur Edmondson was a Methodist, he is on that photo. Wrong again.
I can still remember the Chapel standing, I still thought it was a Methodist.

" Jehovah Jireh, now sadly in a dilapidated condition,is used as a garage and store for a local firm of hauliers and coal merchants. There was a plan, over twenty years ago, to purchase the building for conversion to a Catholic Chapel of Ease but, unfortunately,nothing came of it and yet another building intended for the worship of God is gradually being eroded by the ravages of time.I wonder what the founders of this little chapel on the hill would think of it now." |

jehovah jirah chapel at haggate is a disgrace the land around it is a big big tip and should be cleaned up and all the rubbish removed . |
