HI Everyone I'm looking for information on James BRIERCLIFFE who was born in Rochdale in 1828. He appears on the 1881 age 53 (born Rochdale) Census as living at 120 Vavasour St. Castleton Lancashire with wife Alice ? and seven children William, James, Elizabeth, Alfred, Thomas, John, Abraham. This James Briercliffe died in Sep 1897 aged 69 and Alice Briercliffe died in Dec 1895 in Rochdale (ON 1841 CENSUS JAMES APPEARS AS BRITCLIFFE) William married Alice Jane ? James unmarried Elizabeth married Robert WIDDUP Alfred = Jane Watson DICKSON Thomas = Martha ann MILLS John = Mary Hannah STANDRING Abraham = Elizabeth Ellen WHITWORTH Anyone know how I can find any more information on this family please, Seemed as though they stayed in Rochdale at least on 1901 Census Kind regards Dianna |
