Post subject:  Old Burnley Market Hall.

The old Burnley market hall had a Bulls head carved above the main entrance doorway. Was this carving literally "blown up" and dumped with other stones in a field above Sabden or did someone have the good sense to keep it?. Also was this carving in anyway associated with the original position of the market when it was on Market St (Manchester Rd) adjacent to the "Bull Inn"?
