I know I'm probably having a deja vu moment and have asked before, but,

I'm trying to find any books with photo's preferably, of prominent families in Haggate and Briercliffe from 1800 to early 1900.

They are recorded first at St Barts under the name of Banks and he was a tailor.
The family moved over the hill and a further three generations were running tailors businesses successfully in area and from the look of the grave stones in Haggate and St James, were quite well off and therefore I thought there might be records of them in the business sections of records?

Anyone know of any historical records which might have them in?

Have you looked in trade directories ? e.g. in Burnley library [no photos !

Try the 'Newspapers online' site (adverts for the business possibly), the Burnley papers are well represented up to c. 1905.
