Can anyone tell what the last word says please, it is a description of 'palpitations' on a medical form form the 50's..

Yes, presume N means nothing or nil, extra systole which means they found( an extra heart beat but only occasionally and not of concern). Does that help? |

Yes, thank you both for your input. The records refer to my paternal Nan. My dad has a heart defect that is not too common, though more so now than when he was diagnosed back in the 1980's. We were told that it is not hereditary but reading this for the first time yesterday made me wonder if Nan had what dad has. Hannah - were you a nurse? |
