Hi not sure if anyone can help. I was brought up in Harle Syke, moved there in 1971 when I was 5 with my 3 younger siblings. We amd our friends spent most of our summers swimming in the river at cockden and Ogglety gogglety. Picking blackberries in autumn and sledging up the golf link in winter it was ace! I'm trying to find some photos of those areas has anyone got any ideas. Thanks so much

Hi,
If you go into photos on the home page, then into Briercliffe, there are a couple of pics of Runklehurst which I think is at the bottom of the ogglety gogglety.
Hope this helps.
PS my husband grew up in Harle Syke and did just what you did.

It's a series of steps leading up from the river to behind Bent Hill Farm (think that's the farm). It was part of an old thoroughfare for people going to the mill at Roggerham.
