I have a feeling we may have discussed this before. Apologies if we have. We (imindoors) and I are currently in the process of making a will. We have no possessions of particular financial value but I have my local history books and my genealogy research (and all the documents that have been gathered over the years) that I would like to pass on to....where do you leave such things? I don't think any of my family are particularly interested? My first thought was the Briercliffe Society but, as I am only 21 (ahem ), my demise could be many years away and will the Society still be in existence? I'd like to think so but I need to have a back-up plan for if it is not. Thoughts, ideas, experiences and suggestions welcomed. |

21 mmmm couple of years younger than me then!!!! How about Burnley Library, they would be accessible to view there. Or maybe Colne library, they have a lot of family history information there, and the lfhhs have their Pendle and Burnley branch meetings there. |
