I have a feeling we may have discussed this before. Apologies if we have.

We (imindoors) and I are currently in the process of making a will. We have no possessions of particular financial value but I have my local history books and my genealogy research (and all the documents that have been gathered over the years) that I would like to pass on to....where do you leave such things? I don't think any of my family are particularly interested?

My first thought was the Briercliffe Society but, as I am only 21 (ahem  ), my demise could be many years away and will the Society still be in existence? I'd like to think so but I need to have a back-up plan for if it is not.

Thoughts, ideas, experiences and suggestions welcomed.

21 mmmm couple of years younger than me then!!!!
How about Burnley Library, they would be accessible to view there. Or maybe Colne library, they have a lot of family history information there, and the lfhhs have their Pendle and Burnley branch meetings there.
