Can anyone tell me the exact location of the cricket pitch that was somewhere in the Cockden area. My uncle used to play there in the 50s but can't find out just where it was situated. Thanks

Not exactly, but can give you the area.. Look on google maps, Todmorden Rd, Big Tree Lane....between that and Black House Lane is a footpath / track, the cricket pitch was to the right going towards Black House Lane. I think we have had something about this before on here, so it might be worth doing a search. |
