Ask for Becky Brown when you go to the library Maggie. Your sis sounds an interesting lady,get her to write down her memories.
I also remember the Con Club on Trafalgar Street.
Have you read that book called A Broken Biscuit... that is all about a lady who lived in the Trafalgar area, its very interesting.

I will ask for Becky, thanks again for taking the time to find this out for me.
My sister is coming for tea tomorrow so I will ask her to start writing things down about the area and it's people, we did not have a brilliant childhood so she would probably only relate impersonal memories for me.

I have read the book Broken Biscuit and the follow up Cracks in the Ceiling, I worked at the same hospital as John's twin sister Mary. In fact I could read the first book again thanks for reminding me about them.
