The same pictures are used in the same sort of slide by a someone with the same username on another site.
I don't object to this but it would have been nice to have been asked!

They have also put those photo's on that I have taken of the Victoria hospital as it is now, and that one of the house where my Grandad was born at Reedly Hollows. I am ripping, I have a good mind to get in touch with the person who has submitted them and ask why they have not asked permission, what is all this copyright business about if they can do something like this.

I have sent the following message. Not very harsh but it addresses the matter and will start the lines of communication.

Hi
while I cannot prove that you took all of the images in your Harle Syke and Burnley slide shows from the Briercliffe Society website, I know that you took some as they are images of a submitters relation that do not exist elsewhere without their permission.
Do you not realise that permission should be sought before downloading images from a website? It's manners to ask at the very least.
Would you be kind enough to remove the images of people please.

That's good I think, hope it has not just been retitled and put somewhere else, I would love to know who did it, cant say what I would do to them, I am too much of a lady, hope 'they' read this wherever/whoever they may be. I am saying one last thing on the subject then I will let it go, when I saw that photo of my Grandad on that youtube video,it really upset me, I felt like I had been robbed or summat. Hope that is an end to it. Would like to thank Mel for her intervention in the matter, Thanks Mel :)
