For anyone interested in the ancient history of our district there is a new archaeology project covering the Burnley, Colne and Nelson upland district stretching from Worsthorne through to Wycoller.

The Project offers an opportunity for anyone to become involved and is already rewriting local history!

The Project is raising quite a bit of interest - 50% of the available survey area has now been sponsored. Onwards and upwards. . .
