I was buried

Couldn't resist it.
The file consists of the accused' statement upon arrest. Also statements by 'witnesses' though some of these appear irrelevant to the actual crime and only serve as confirmation of ID of accused.
There is a transcript of the accused statement with notes in the columns. I'm not sure who made the notes but it shows the train of thought of the person.
I originally thought this relation had been wrongly accused but having read the evidence, I'm not so sure any more. It's certainly more to think about.
There was a statement from a medical person at the prison where the accused was being held saying they thought accused was of sound mind and that there was no knowledge of mental problems in the family. This had to have been based on info from the accused and was probably not very accurate. The mother of the accused had committed manslaughter when the accused was very young causing the accused to spend childhood (age 4 to 14) in care, never knowing father and being told mother had gone to Canada to set up a home and new life for the family and would return for them, she did visit carehome twice. She died when accused was 9, accused was aware of her death. Accused did not know what mother had done.
