Family History Day Fair 2008 “Bringing the Past to the Present” At St Georges Hall, Liverpool On Saturday, 1 November 2008 10:00 to 16:00 Celebrating: ‘08 Liverpool – European Capital of Culture’ A once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the experts and join in this unique event, featuring; Family History Societies, The General Record Office, Register and Record Offices, Libraries, Postcards, Presentations, Help Desks Publications, Genealogical Stationers,Lectures with talks by; Dr Nick Barratt, Consultant Genealogist for the BBC’s “Who Do You Think You Are” “Family History and the Media” ooooooxxxxxoooooo Mr David Stoker, Manager Liverpool Record Office “The World in One City? Family History Sources and Services in Liverpool Record Office” Ooooooxxxxxoooooo Mr Peter Park “Wanted, Widows with Large Families” ooooooxxxxxoooooo Admission is £2:00 on the door, £4:00 for those visitors wishing to hear any of the talks. Please note seating for the talks is limited to 70 and will be issued on a first come first served basis. Young persons under 16 will be admitted free to the Hall. |

I really like the sound of that. What with that and the Thornton registers thing I'm really missing out here. Wonder whether I put a sub on for the holiay? |
