If anyone is thinking of going, I don't think it is a bad place to get to. It is not in the centre of Manchester but just off the M60 near the Trafford Centre.

I may have a trip out.

I'm not sure yet. Having returned this week from a trip away, I've hit the ground runnning and think I'm about to meet myself coming back!

Will let you know if I can make it though

Spent a good couple of hours there today. Right next door there was a computer fair which I managed not to go into--haha.
There were quite a lot of people at the history fair and lots of stalls, some of which I hadn't seen before. We listened to a talk on "Knocking Down Brick Walls" by a representive of The Genealogist. He was very good and made me wonder if I hadn't searched the site as much as I could have. They were offering £10 off gold sub and £50 off diamond if booked that day at the fair. He made the site sound easier to search than I found it, and also there seemed to be a lot more on it than I ever managed to find.
All in all a good day and I would certainly go again.
