From LFHHS yahoo forum

Those of us with ancestors who were weavers and the like may be interested in attending a day of 4 lectures under the heading 'The Changing Fortunes of King Cotton' to be held under the banner of the Federation of Lancashsire Local History Societies on Saturday 23rd February 2013 in the Masonic Hall, Saul St, Preston

Full details from the Federation's secretary - secretary@lancashirehistory.org

Membership of the Federation is free for societies and individuals up to the end of 2013. - send to members@lancashirehistory.,org

This should be on the Federation's website soon - http://www.lancashirehistory.org/

No, Lyndon is chained to his desk and can't work from home for a while. Pup is a little destructive if he is left for too long. Next summer should see an improvement in the situation
