Yorkshire Parish records and Bishop's Transcripts

The Yorkshire Collection is a major project to digitise and publish online parish records, both transcripts and images, from six of the record offices in Yorkshire. The Yorkshire Collection on Findmypast will be the most comprehensive online repository of Yorkshire family history records anywhere in the world.

I'm guessing these are not to be confused with the West Yorkshire records that ancestry has. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I took the one month for £5 and have found quite a few of my lot in the School Admission Register 1870-1914 in Briercliffe and Burnley.

Nice one! I do like the monthly subscriptions. Much less annoying than tying in to one provider and then finding that the other has just released something of use.

I think I will be without subscription over the festive period for the first time ever. Thats when I usually immerse myself in tree but not this year. We've just had another puppy so won't be going away for Christmas this year. He is taking up a lot of my time at the moment so it seems sensible to cancel until I can start to concentrate on it again.

It's not like it is forever :D
