I have an exciting month ahead! :D

The Genealogist sent me an email yesterday with a personal code (sorry, would share it but it is a single use thing) inviting me to a free month of their Diamond subscription. I got as far as having to fill in card details (would auto-renew at a sightly reduced price if I didn't cancel, instructions would be in the email) and decided not to go ahead. I didn't want to share my card details with them at the point.
I woke up to an email this morning telling me that they understand people not wanting to add card details and that they have added the free month to my registered account anyway!
They have the tithe maps!! Have just checked and Briercliffe is included. Hoping to save as much info as I can from this fantastic resource!

It's a good job we have plans for a quiet Christmas at home!

Oooooh interesting, tithe maps.
I never like the auto renew payments but most seem to do it. There must be a lot of people who forget to cancel and are then locked in for 12 months..........

I like the monthly subscriptions. It suits me to grab a month here and there and to swap who I go with. Ancestry, Find My Past and The Genealogist all have datasets that are of interest to me. Sadly, TG don't currently do monthly on the Diamond subscription (or any others I think)
