Bid for and got the above book from e bay, this is a signed copy by W Bennett in 1947. Looking forward to it arriving, hope I am not dissappointed. Did'nt cost an arm and a leg anyway.

I have this but not signed.

The other volumes are available from either Badger Books or Burnley library Stephanie.

I have them all and they are well worth getting.
My books 1 and 2 are in the same book, then 3. I got 4 as a paper back from Badger Books Burnley. The last one has the index so well worth getting.

Hope you get it but if not, give the library a call to see if they have any. I think it was the Burnley Historical Society that re-printed them.

Just aquired two books, one is 'It's an old Lancashire custom' by Sylvia Lovat Corbridge, it has some lovely old photo's in, and also a book by our Roger Frost called 'Along t'cut a towpath trail through Burnley'. I am looking forward to a good perusal.
