I bumped into my Aunt in Tesco last week, I've not seen her for ages, probably a couple of years. She was asking about the tree so I was telling her different bits and bobs that have cropped up recently. She then asked about her grandmother who died when her dad was only 5 or 6. Nothing was really known about this lady when I frst started but having done the necessary digging, I now have a lot of info on her and her family which I was happily telling to my Aunt. She was amazed at how much I could remember without any documents to hand. It's true, my memory where my tree is concerned is very good but I cannot remember things that I should be remembering.

Hi, I'm Christine (nee Parker) and first time on your website and forum (so not completely sure how to work it). Contacted Gloria via Genes Reunited and she recommended coming to the Brierciffe site. I took a look at Tim Hadfield and Richard Parker's Parker family tree and am pretty sure that number 223 Daniel Parker (b 1860 Burnley) was my great grandfather and number 293 John Parker was my grandfather. It seems Daniel's elder son, Arthur, may be missing from this tree as the 1891 census has Daniel, Alice, Arthur, John and Levi living at 17 Pear St. I'd be really interested in helping extend this line of the tree further forward, also knowing more about 'Arthur Parker's family tree' (which Arthur Parker? who is/was he?). Grateful for your thoughts. Christine

"Thomas married Ann Parker daughter of Daniel Parker and Mary Nuttall on 17 May 1849 in St James, Burnley, Lancs. Ann was born in 1818 in Holt Hill, Briercliffe. She died in 1906."

Have we spoken of this before from your tree?------Daniel Parker is one of mine, the one who causes me a headache, he was one of my 4Xgt grandfathers.
