:) Thanks Mel, almost all the 'tribe' seem to be here. Very surprised to find my gt. grandfather's first wife, buried in section C grave 26 with two brothers in law, a sister in law and her husbands parents plus someones grandsons, that's eight people in one grave???? Can't be, two plots side by side maybe?
I believe this site is on the right of where the chapel stood and behind the cottages??
Havn't worked out who the others are but , at last I have another brain to help, another decendent is tracing this lot, so we may make progress.

C 21 and C 26 will be five plots apart, there might not be a stone (or no legible stone) for C 26.
I'd say you are about right with the location.

Those are my Thistlethwaites in Section C Grave 96! Harry son of Robert and Ellen Thistlethwaite of Burnley Lane. Ellen was formerly Ellen Shackleton before she married Robert Thistlethwaite. Interestingly, over at Section B Grave 43, along with Robinson and Elizabeth Shackleton are Ethel and Christina again (their granddaughters).

:?: My direct lot are in C 26, so what is our connection, or is it too complicated and distant. I have another branch of this family coming to swop photo's and look at old documents, will try to pick his brain's if you have any queries?
