I have been contacted by a relative living in New Zealand re the above address which was the home of her Grandparents David and Ellen Peacock (Heap). She thinks that the property was converted into one residence from two hence the two numbers and later may have had an address change to 9 and 11, Marsden Road. Is her family home still there and is there a photograph available please ?

According to the post ofice, numbers 160 & 162 briercliffe road still exist and the marsden road address is a different property.
if you do a postcode search for the 2 addresses, you can bring up a map showing where they are. Hope this link works for you..

Is it an old photo your relative wants? If not, once you know exactly which property it I'll go round and snap it for you if you like (hopefully without getting arrested!)
