Hi, Is it Elizabeth Alice Wilkinson we are looking into?
Marriage-- it has Elizabeth Alice Wilkinson on the same page
Herbert Hartley Woabank

District: Burnley
County: Lancashire, Yorkshire - West Riding
Volume: 8e
Page: 333

Possible in 1891 census, all born Burnley except Hannah born Earby
Name Age
John Wilkinson 33

Hi, welcome to the forum. This is my busiest time of the year (I have to work sometimes unfortunately  ) but as soon as I'm on top of it, I'll have a look to see if I have anything lying around for the name Wilkinson.

1881 census living at 10 Jackson St
Name Age
John Wilkinson 22
Grace Wilkinson 23
Elizabeth Ann Wilkinson 2

From 1891 census giving the surname of John's mother-in-law I looked for a marriage for Grace Walton with John Wilkinson on same page and found this. If you send for this cert it will give John's father and then you can go further back. At that time there were a few John Wilkinsons in Burnley and it would be easy to follow the wrong one without knowing the name of his father.
Grace Walton
Year of Registration: 1877
Dec quarter
District: Burnley
County: Lancashire, Yorkshire - West Riding
Volume: 8e

Marriage, and there is only one other person on the page and that is Hannah Wilkinson, if you send for this it will tell you if she has been married before, which I would think she has. The two girls will be from her first marriage, unless she had them out of wedlock.
Adam Walton
Year of Registration: 1847

County: Yorkshire - West Riding

1851 mistranscribed as Watton, the two Wilkinson girls are again step daughters. They are living in Kelbrook.
Name Age
Adam Watton 31
Hannah Watton 23
Joseph Watton 1
Allice Wilkinson 7
Ann Wilkinson 3

I have found a birth for Ann Wilkinson registered Skipton Dec qtr 1848. Volume 23, page 572---that would give her mother and father, and the mother's maiden name.

Possible marriage for a Wilkinson (male) and a Hannah. Below are the details of a John Wilkinson and on the same page is a Hannah Holdsworth, so this could be the first marriage of Hannah. Best way to find out is to get the marriage cert of her to Adam Walton.

John Wilkinson
Year of Registration: 1843
Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun
District: Skipton
County: Yorkshire - West Riding
Volume: 23
Page: 481
