a little blue trough type tin, about 2 or 3" long and 1/2" wide filled with toffe or chocolate and made by Blue Bird?
I had a dream about it last night, I remember it being a weekly treat from our local shop but Lyndon doesn't remember it and thinks I've lost the plot. He is a little bit older than me though so perhaps it wasn't around when he was small?

I remember blue bird toffee! can't remember a tin like the one you describe though. :)

I can remember bluebird toffee. I liked the caramel bar but it was wrapped in paper. :)
