I looked with interest at the preceding discussion about Heap family history, but nowhere did I find any reference to Ann Heap. According to my notes, she was born January 27, 1826. She passed away on December 25, 1889. She was married to Benjamin Stanworth. Does anyone know anything about her parents?

Hi Christine
As you know that Benjamin and Ann Heap were married,do you have a marriage cert,or a possible timeframe for the ceremony?

Hi Christine, I have a Benjamin Stanworth born 1827, the son of James Stanworth and Elizabeth (Betty) Stanworth nee Smith----is this the same Benjamin? He was brother to my 3xgt grandfather Joseph. You can see my Stanworth tree on the home page.

Hello to both of you,
From my information Ann was born on Jan 7,1826 in Worsthorne. She married Benjamin Stanworth in 1848 At St John Evangelist in Worsthorne. She was buried at HGB. Benjamin was the son of Joseph Stanworth and Jennet Nichol.

I finally found the answer to my question. Ann Heap was the daughter of William Heap and Mary Smith.
