If you can remember Radio Luxembourg and Radio Caroline, and you enjoy music from the 1960’s, then you will probably enjoy the movie “Pirate Radio” (might be called “The Boat that Rocked” in England)

My friend and I went to the IOM one year and we went out to sea to view Radio Caroline. Whillst we were on holiday we both bought denim skirts and a navy striped top finishied off with a leather beret. We thought we were the bees knees and when we came home we told all the local lads and lassies that we had been working on Radio Carolone as DJs. Tut tut.

Sure I remember Radio Luxembourg and also AFN ...American forces network coming from Germany. I was a teenager then and needed these stations to get my daily dose of rock and roll in the 50's.

Be sure to watch that film then. I’m sure it will bring back some good memories!
