Hi, have you looked here? http://www.familysearch.org/ENG/search/ ... esults.asp I don't know if there is much more info than you have got but it may be worth a look around.

I have a book of registers of Parish Church of Colne 1599-1653 and there are no Duerdens in there.

Hi, I cannot help you with Francis, but I was hoping you would tell me more about Jonathan who married Mary Eastwood in 1792 at St Peter,s Burnley and tell me the details of Mary and James who you said were felons. It occurs to me that Francis must be my relative too as Jonathan is, so perhaps you would tell me how you get from Jonathan to Francis.

Thankyou for that. I'll have to join Genes reunited to see it in detail. Can you tell me where you found the information on Jonathan and Mary Eastwoods children who were felons? It is over a year since I was in Burnley so I am very dependant on the good will of others to further my research. I note that William my ancestor had children named Levi, Jonathan, James and Mary, so the family names continued into the next generation. Please keep me informed of anything new that you uncover.
