Burnley Express and News

January 16 1943

The interment took place yesterday in the Haggate Baptist burial ground of Mrs. Mary Jane Elton, 18, Gorple-street, Burnley, whose death occurred on Tuesday last at her home. Born in Rawtenstall 83 years ago, she came to live in Burnley in her youth, and for many years was a weaver for the Harle Syke Mill Co. Her husband pre-deceased her many years ago. She leaves one son, one daughter and two grandchildren. The last rites were performed by Mr. W.E. Thornber. Arrangements by Burnley Co-op Soc.
