I wonder if any of you have an ancestor in Alice Ashworth who married William Hartley in Colne in 1817. They had a daughter Ann Ruth Hartley who emigrated to America with her husband Robert Parker ( they were married in Colne in 1843 ). They were the grandparents of Butch Cassidy!!

No relation to me but Butch has popped up before.

Mr Parker from the Briercliffe Society has a very extensive Parker tree and I know he's spoken several times of Butch Cassidy being on it. Don't know where you'd find his tree tho.
