Well I am very excited because just by googling, I found this forum and I found 'hannah' who is a distant cousin of mine I think. Have been emailing 'hannah' and we have both hit the same brick wall with "George Thistlethwaite" and who is parents are etc.

So get ready for more Thistlethwaites!!! :lol:

:lol: I think there are more on here, but I haven't gotten that far yet.

I am absolutely DETERMINED to find out where George's parents are. I am obsessed with it.

I also have another ancestor on my mother's side of the family that is proving to be just as tricky. Got to love this Family Tree stuff huh??? :?

No it isn't just a Lancashire term, it is an Australian term too lol. I actually use it frequently and not only to this Family Tree :lol:
