Thanks Mel, lovely pictures. At last I can say, ' those were the days', ' when I was young the sun always came out in summer and things were peaceful'.

The pictures show it.

Is there any better image than through a childs eyes though?

Seeing the old streets with no traffic and no yellow lines - we almost still have that in some of the villages in France. There are more cars but life does there does feel lke its 50 years behind that of the UK
