I don't know if we are appearing in the search engines better or if the new Twitter feed on the home page is having an effect but in the last 3 weeks we have had several emails from various people providing information on previously miscellaneous or unknown images.

We have had a school identified on another forum topic, 3 or 4 soldiers identified from the Nameless Forces section and one of the photos in the miscellaneous section has also been recognised. Also, I have updated the photo archive this last week.

Just starting to peruse the new additions.....Haggate School 1925-27.....second boy from right on top row....there's my dad!!! Jack Halstead.
Makes my neck prickle when that happens.....miss him so.

We have received several new photos this week. Rather than people try to navigate and find them amongst the older photos, I have created a folder titled 'New' to make life easy. I will eventually move these pictures into relevant folders.

If you can name anybody in the photos submitted by Newell Thornton, please either leave messages here or use the Contact Us link on the main site.

To make it easier to find them, I have moved the ones that have been updated into the 'New' album. I will, eventually, move them back into the School photos, Haggate subsection.
