Gloria - We have thrashed through the Kippaii before, yes. Partly it was just reminding myself of where we'd got to. T'will be interesting to see if any of the wills contradict our beliefs.

Do you fancy trying to upload the 1677 and 1695 administration bonds/inventories? I'm sure putting a few Great Minds together might help decipher them?

Mel - thanks!

Upload them???? I have a pc and a printer ???? no scanner to do that!!!!
One set appears to be large copies of the other set and therefore a bit easier to read.

Ps I am in our library as our internet is playing up again, I am going to ring them this afternoon when I have got my head around ringing and speaking to "a foreign country" and "a foreign person"--- I hate this,

Gloria,

A shame! I've found uploading stuff a bit easier these days in the era of camera phones and the like. Very useful for grabbing an image of something without having to go through the faff of making sure a scanner is working.

Good luck with getting your Internet back!

Yup - that's the address.

Looking forward to seeing the image. Hope I can help decipher it!

Hello!

I did indeed get the photos, yes! Thank you muchly for them. I've only had a chance to look at them on my 'phone so far, but they don't seem *too* difficult to decipher. They get a little blurry in places, though. Would you like me to upload them here for others to see and, perhaps, offer some deciphering skills on?

Many thanks!

Stephen

Wouldn't there be a problem with the records office if we do that. I don't think it would be allowed, but Mel May be able to answer that.
Which did you find easiest to read the first larger one or the second a4 size?

Stephen, I have sent you the rest, but they are not good quality at all, but neither are these copies I have.
See what you think.

Hi Gloria!

Wills received and naughtily printed out on the work's printer. Shall have a look through them and see if I can help with the deciphering at all!

Many many thanks for photographing them all!

In answer to the upload...I don't think it would be allowed. You usually sign a disclaimer to receive copies of anything. I think transcripts would be allowed but not actual images. Sorry

Thought so, never mind. If we come to the next meeting I will bring them with me.
