Does anyone know of a memorial to members of the Whittaker family, located somewhere along the Leeds / Liverpool canal around Burnley?

Be delighted to hear from you if you do!

Thanks

Martin Whittaker

I've never seen anything what you may call "canal side" and I have walked from Padiham to Brierfield along the tow path. But this doesn't mean there isn't one.
There is a foundation stone in what was the Rosegrove Methodist church for "Sarah Whitaker", note one "t". and one in the Greenbrook Methodist Lowerhouse for Miss M E Whittaker. If you have any more details, dates, rough position etc. pop them on the site.
