Taken from Burnley Express Friday 18th Oct 2013. The date is as in the paper and not a mistake by me.

Local History Group
Burnley Local History Group is to have lunch at the Coldwell Activity Centre in Briercliffe on Tuesday, October 24th October. The meal is booked for 1pm after which Roger Frost will give a short talk about the history of the Coldwell area.

Sorry, only just playing catch-up on the forum. We couldn't make it last night as we had clients here. That coupled with the weather froecast, we didn't think it would be wise to travel north.

We do, however, have a client taking us to my favourite Italian
