Does anyone recognise Thomas KIPPAX, as follows ?

Married Jenny EASTWOOD in 1811 at Burnley, both of Briercliffe. No children found. Buried probably at Haggate in 1831. Jenny (Jinney)may be buried at Haggate in 1846, residence Burnley Wood. (Not found in 1841 census)

In 1826 Thomas was jailed for three months along with my ancestor Joshua HEAP at Preston for stealing bacon from a shop in Burnley. Age given as 43, but I can find no suitable birth or baptism.

Hi Rex,
Been through all my Kippax tree stuff and can't find him, in fact can only find one Thomas Kippax born 15th July 1877, but that doesn't help you.
I will see if I can find anything in my numerous bits of paper waiting to be filed.

Found this on family search, but not the Jenny you mention.

I wonder if it's been mistranscribed.....Eastwood / Greenwood
