My findmypast is up for renewal in January, so I've decided to have a sub to this instead of renewing. I've always liked ancestry, but sometimes if you change it can give you a different aspect on a search, even though they are much the same records. I know that sounds daft, but going over the same thing time and time again makes you miss things. A change is as good as a rest.

It is. I have to swap and change as one has Lancashire and Yorkshire records and the other has Staffordshire. I rarely commit to a year these days unless I get a really good deal but even then I take the odd month wit te other.
