I have seen a photo of their gravestone in St James Briercliffe churchyard. My Grandma was Marietta Bancroft. Anyone any info?

There are quite a few references to him on familysearch.co.uk, have you seen those?
Also there is a Bancroft Mill at Barnoldsick, if he was involved in that then you could find a lot of info on oneguyfrombarlick.co.uk.
