Does anyone have this man in their tree, and if so, do you know the maiden name of his wife, Olive?
On the 1841 census he's living at Lane House, Briercliffe with his wife and 2 Leaver children aged 2 & 15.
In 1851 he's at the Mill, Briercliffe with Olive, 3 children - Bunister (Bannister), Robert and Ann. One of the Leaver children is still there, described as a lodger.
We have an Olive Leaver, born 20/8/1816 and I wondered whether it might be the same person, bearing in mind the 2 Leaver children living with her and the fact that her eldest son has the same name (Bannister) as Olive Leaver's father and brother.
I think this is Bannister Nutter
