On the Leaver births/ baptisms thread we had another incidence of a birth registration showing the time of birth. In that case it turned out there weren't twins, just that that particluar registrar at that time recorded the time for every birth.
However this is a different registrar. Have you considered whether this one was a twin Stephanie?

Yes Maureen, Martha had a twin brother called Thomas, but I hav'nt sent for his cert yet, I will be doing so soon then I can see who was the elder. :) Stephanie.

I think it's really mean, wouldn't you think that they would give out all certs as one where a multiple birth has occurred. After all, it was only one pregnancy!

I agree, I already have one lot of twins in my family on my Mum's side and I had to send for each one separately, it is a rip off, it is probably because they were registered separately though. :x Stephanie.
