Maureen, do you still have a copy of this marriage? I have a different date, 29 Oct 1797, St. Peter's Church, Burnley, but maybe I copied it down wrong.

I may have, I'll look on the camera when I get home. I do know it's right though. The date you had came from the information Peter sent you. When I went to the library I looked up the marriages for the date he gave and there was no Leaver marriage there. So I worked back and forth till I found the one I posted.

I've checked the image and the date is definitely 16 november. I haven't got round to downloading it yet but I'll pass you on copy when I do.
