Sues

On Marsden Rd, on the left going towards Nelson from Lane Head, only about 300 yards on from the Black Bull. Above the 'housing scheme', Ribble/Thames Ave etc.

Thats right Sue. When I was about 5, we lived at 1 Underley St, there was a track ran between us and the Black Bull which went up to the Delph.
I always remember my dad mentioning on the deeds the Holcombe Hunt had rights to hunt over our land-----it was a small garden !!!! but I spent ages waiting for this to happen.

The Proctor families all lived around New Gropund top and areas in the 1800s.
