Hi everyone! Did you have a nice Christmas?

Mel and I are talking about a new project and we need your help!! We would like to do something like the Burnley in the Great War site that will eventually include all Briercliffe seaman / airman / marines / soldiers from the Boer War, WW1 and WW2. I Would imagine more than a few of you have photographs, postcards and medals from Briercliffe relations who served during WW2, if you are lucky you will have some from WW1, and if you are very lucky you will have a few items from Boer War soldiers!! What do we need from you? To start with we will need a list of any Briercliffe service men, Regiment name, Rank, military number and address if known. Don’t panic if this information is unknown as I have a couple of photos of Briercliffe soldiers and I only know their name and nothing about their regiment, Rank etc. and I will be adding them to the project. This is in its early stages so if you have any suggestions please post them here!! One last point before I go. I know a few women who served as non combatants but I don’t know how to find their information.
