Hi Kris
Thankyou from me too! There are plenty of mine on here. Some of whom I had not traced yet.

I have received an email with info regarding this stone. Benjamin was born in 1793 and Sarah was born in 1796.
I never thought to ask when I replied, I wonder where Benjamin was buried?

Hi Mel
What was the email about? I have no idea where that Benjamin is buried. The Benjamin in Burnley Cem. is my Gt Uncle (the one from Zion st, aged 44).
I would like to know more about Susannah Kippax aged 79 though. (of 83 Branch Road). Her age certainly ties up with what we know of my Great Grandfather's second wife.

It was just providing us with a little more information about the people on the stone. Sarah's stone is in quite a state but it confirmed her year of birth, we knew nothing of Benjamin.
The lady replied to me, she thinks Benjamin might be at All Saints in Habergham Eaves

I don’t remember seeing a Kippax grave at All Saints, Habergham. I am certain I would have taken a photo of the grave if I had.

true.

It would be nice to have the records on line. I have Simpson's and Wolstenholme's at All Saints.

I can find her death on ancestry but there is no sign of her in the 1861 or 1871 census. There is an Alice Kippar in 1861 on Cop Row which could be her, but that doesn't explain why she is called Olive at death.---- unless she was married and it's not the same person at all. Olive is not a name used in the Kippax family of Briercliffe. Found a James Kippax marrying an Olive Nutter 1876 that I think would be her.
