FATAL ACCIDENT. - A carpenter named Henry Simpson, who resided at Gannow-lane lost his life on Thursday, by an accident at Bankhall Colliery. The deceased was engaged in fixing wooden air pipes in the shafting, and got on all right until he was within about 13 yards off the bottom, when he missed his footing and fell. Be it known that Dinah Simpson of 47 St. Johns Road Burnley in the County of Lancaster who at the time of her death had a fixed place of abode at Burnley aforesaid within the District of Lancaster died on the 28th day of January 1904 at Burnley aforesaid intestate a widow.
And be it further known that at the date hereunder written Letters of Administration of all the Estate which by Law devolves to and vest in the personal representative of the said intestate where granted by His Majestys High Court of Justice at the District probate Registry thereof at Lancaster to Jane Hargreaves of 20 Harley Street Burnley aforesaid widow the natural and lawful Daughter and one of the next of kin of the said intestate.

AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN that at the date hereunder written the last Will and Testament
(a copy whereof is hereunto annexed) of the said deceased was proved and registered in the Principal Probate Registry of His Majesty's High Court of Justice and that Administration of all the Estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Courts to

7th day of September 1942.I, FANNY CATLOW of 9 Peace Street Burnley in the County of Lancaster Widow hereby revoke all wills and codicils at any time heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last will.
1. I APPOINT my nephew John William Simpson and my niece Fanny Whitworth (hereinafter called "my Trustees" to be the executors and trustees of this my will.
2. I GIVE to my nephew the said John William Simpson the sum of Seventy pounds free of duty.
3. I DEVISE AND BEQUEATH all my property whatsoever and wheresoever not otherwise disposed of (including; any entailed interest over which I have a statutory power of testamentary disposition) to my trustees UPON TRUST for sale and conversion (with full power to postpone) and I direct that my Trustees shall stand possessed of the proceeds thereof (after payment thereout or out of my ready moneys of my debts funeral and testamentary expenses)
IN TRUST for such of my nephews namely the said John William Simpson and Harry Simpson and my nieces Ada Ormerod the said Fanny Whitworth and Ethel Duerden as shall be living at my death and the issue then living and attaining the age of twenty one years or in the case of females marrying of such of my said nephews and nieces
Hereinbefore named as shall be then dead in equal shares per stirpes.
4. MY personal representative or my trustees may at any time exercise the power of appropriation conferred upon a personal representative by section 41 of the Administration of Estates Act 1925 and may so exercise the same by appropriating any part or parts of my real or personal estate to one of themselves or to any other person without employing a duly qualified valuer and without the consent of any person whose consent would or might but for the present provise be or have been made requisite by that section.
