Hi folks
This topic is something interesting. In my childhood days I have read a very brief introduction regarding these to strands. They are regarded as the biological strands from where a whole organism get developed. The things are not still clear with me as am not in touch with the subject of biology. But still am very much interested to know about all these things . They ultimately define our identity. DNA testing is the most significant method to identify the parents of that organism. It may be animals or even plants.
All the information regarding this topic is appreciated.

Think it's ribose nucleic acid Mel - and DNA is de-oxy ribose nucleic acid.

I'm on another discussion group (mailing list/society actually) related to a one-name study. They're obsessed with the Y-DNA testing, which is apparently a way of connecting (male) cousins who records cannot connect. They use it a lot in Irish genealogy. It's quite expensive, too.

Hi Stephen, what is the "one name" study name? Please tell me it's one of mine.
