Injured By Bus
John Rushton Sutcliffe, of 8, Back Halifax-road, Briercliffe, was walking along the narrow footpath near Queen-street in Burnley-road last Saturday when he stumbled and fell against an omnibus owned by the Joint Transport Committee and being driven by Wm. Mitchell, of 45, Barkerhouse-road, Nelson, towards Haggate. mitchell pulled up immediately, but Sutcliffe, who was knocked to the ground, sustained cuts to the head and abrasions to head and legs.
