BRIERCLIFFE.
THE annual tea and meeting in connection with the Hill Lane Sunday School was held on Saturday, when about 350 persons sat down. The meeting was presided over by the Rev. A. Gray. An address was delivered by Mr. F. Leaver. The artistes were: Miss A. Fellows, Mr. R. T. Foster; recitations and a dialogue were given by scholars; and two action songs, “The Chinese Umbrella,” and “The Rainbow,” were given by fifteen girls, under the tuition of Misses E. Bannister and A. Whittaker.
