Else = Or

We cud 'ave a pint in the Sparrow Hawk. Else the Talbot.

(Both at the bottom of Ormerod Rd)

Or both !

Often in standard English we say 'or else' for 'or'. In Burnley, 'else' is freestanding.

Only in Burnley!

I wonder what other phrases or sayings are exclusive to Burnley in this way?
