I have received the following query.

comments = My gt.gt.gt.Grandfather was John Nutter born 1784.Gt.Gt.Grandfather was James Nutter born 1813, christened at St.Barts.Colne.His son Job,born 1840,Little Marsden, married Catherine Laitham.Their son John Strauss Nutter is buried in St.John\'s Churchyard,Nelson.
I noticed that you had a photo of his gravestone on your website.I wondered if any of your members had any knowledge of the family?
My Gt. Aunt was known as Madam Nutter and along with her husband Chris Smith was a well known singer in the area. One of her brothers (James Nutter) was known as Jimmie Norrie and was also a well known singer who travelled the world as a member of several vaudeville troupes.

This is the gravestone referred to http://www.briercliffesociety.co.uk/Gra ... utter2.htm

To the lady who sent the query, I replied to you this evening but I received a 'Mail Delivery Failure' message.
